PLUTUS PET Dog Vest with Removable Patches

I purchased this item because I wanted a light weight vest for my service animal. After using it 15 or 20 times, the plastic clip broke, rendering it inoperable and useless. I would like the maker to either fix the plastic clip or replace/exchange.

Exactly the summer vest I wanted for my 107 pounds rescue. Note that his chest is 37" and I ended up loosening the strap completely to provide a comfortable fit. A nice touch is that both adjustable straps are sew-in & loop around: no weird looking loose ends flipping around when walking, reguarless of how loose or tight you need them to be. I replaced the two "service dog" patches that came with it with the "in training" ones I already had from another of his vests. He'll officialy look awesome for everyday training as this gives a clear signal that we're trying hard... even when things don't go smoothly!

I absolutely love this vest for my service dog who is a 84 lb English Labrador so she has a stocky build. The vest is very easy to put on and take off just unsnap the buckle and slide over her head. It was super easy to adjust straps for a perfect and comfy fit. The quality of the vest is very good I’ve had this vest for almost 2 years and it is still in great condition and I use it everyday. It is really nice during the summer heat because it is so light and breathable. The red color of the vest looks great against her black fur. I would highly recommend.

As just a vest, it's great for the price. Doesn't attract hair which is a HUGE plus (my SD is white and his hair sticks!). The straps are kinda cheapish, and the buckle is hard to unclasp, but it works. Wouldn't trust it as a harness for a leash, but my boy wears a gentle leader anyway. I'd still recommend it because of the good fabric and the super affordable price!

It’s a-little tighter around the belly than I would like but it dose fit. I like that it has mesh because lord knows he doesn’t need help keeping warm lolI had to get different Velcro labels for it as he is still in training but overall it has worked out great, dose a good job of keeping reasonable people away while he is wearing it.

What I love about this is that I finally found one affordable and small enough to fit my 3 pound Chihuahua. I also really like that it says service dog on the top so people can see it when she’s lying down, or walking, or in her bag. Being a small dog it’s very hard for people to see writing on the sides so the top is great.What I hate about it, is that there is no chest piece/strap that goes from the collar to the underside belly part of the harness. This means it twists on her and makes it somewhat uncomfortable. But worst of all, it means if you have to suddenly pull her back you’re going to be pulling on her neck, which defeats the purpose of a harness over a collar. But, I can’t find another one that fits her that has everything I need so I had to settle for this one. I use it only when we are going to be somewhere where her being present might be questioned. Sometimes I just clip it on the outside of her carry bag instead of putting it on her. Sometimes I put it over her other harness, so I can use that for the leash instead. Would be so much better if they would just make the harness properly with a chest strap.

I have been searching for a lightweight service dog vest for my 48-50 lb. male Labradoodle, whose girth measurement is about 27-28 inches. This vest is constructed of a single layer of nylon fabric, is very light, fits great, and will be ideal for all-day use such as when we travel by air, which can be a lengthy affair, between waiting in the airport and flying, especially on cross-country flights which can be 5-6 hours in the air alone. Most of the available service dog vests I’ve seen are heavily padded, not flexible, somewhat clunky, and are probably uncomfortable for the dog. To me, assuming the service dog has been properly trained and is well behaved under all circumstances (which is the definition of a service dog), there should be no need for a heavily padded vest with a built-in handle on top which is apparently intended to control the dog if there is some commotion. The sole purpose of the vest, in my opinion, is to convey to all that the dog is a service dog and therefore should be left alone so he can do his job without interference. The last thing a well trained service dog handler wants is people asking if they can meet and pet your dog. I’m now looking for a velcro patch that says “SERVICE DOG DO NOT PET.”I highly recommend this vest if your needs are similar to mine.

For the price, this makes an excellent training vest. I wouldnt use it long term, but as a first puppy vest of sorts, it works great. And for the price it can't really be beat.

Cheap, poor fit for my dog, and I returned it.

Light weight for summer wear

My dog is about 15 lbs and this fits fine, but I put it over her regular harness, and I put a hole through the back so her leash could attach to her harness. You can't use this by itself it's just so light and any dog will slip out of it.

This unit is not able to be tightened enough to fit her girth strap but the next size down does not have enough girth strap. Light weight and cool for my dog in all temperatures

Accurate size description, very light for hot weather and breathable material. It also looks super cute. Highly recommend this product. Easy to wash as well.

My Service Partner, a Golden Retriever, is always warm. He doesn’t like wearing any of his vest and I hate making him wear them. True they don’t have to wear a vest, but there are times like going to a new restaurant or doctors office, somewhere unfamiliar with us, that I put his vest on to avoid confrontation. This vest is easy to put on, well made and a lot more comfortable than his other vest. I recommend it if you’re looking for a vest that will help your Service Partner stay comfy. My partner gives it two dewclaws up🦮

We don't have a service dog, but the velcro tag is removable. We got this for a safety vest to make our dog more visible when we're hiking, etc. Wish we could find a vest that is 100% mesh, but they just don't seem to exist. This is nice and visible and easy to put on and off.

This little harness came quicker than I thought it would. Fits my wife's Pom really well. Charlie Monster as I call the little guy seems to like wearing it. Every time I touch it he runs to the door:). Great little harness, looks good and I/we can take him anywhere with us. Great product and Great Seller. We highly recommend them both :) :).

I love this vest because it's so lightweight, but I hate using it because of the material used for the straps. If I had realized this material was used for the straps, I wouldn't have bought this because I've seen the same issue with a collar made from the same material. As my dog and I walk around, the buckles slowly loosen up until the vest is loose and sliding around. I'd say I have to tighten it every day or two with normal use. Otherwise, the vest it great for summer months because it's thin and wicked.

Kept sliding at the back end. Didn't fit well on the body, but fit well on the head. XS seems Medium to a Chihuahua, should had went XXS. Had to adjust the body fit, with Velcro to fit the body not to slide off his(chihuahua) body. Will work with what we have, the last one Amazon gave me for XS, they delivered XXL harness for our pet. Another 3 weeks down the drain, well we are just going to work with what our pets Birthday gift. Don't want to make our Grandmother disappointed AGAIN with all the reading that Amazon, has been putting for pets. THAT is why it is just a CHANCE, buying items! Ensure that you have a return to your card, not return to credit! For refunds!
