Great buy!

This is in my top 5 items I ever bought through Amazon!Getting her into the carrier, particularly her tail, was somewhat difficult. But then she didn't fight me while I alternated clipping and capping her claws and giving her a Churru treat. I usually need a helper but I was able to do it all on my own now, peacefully and in record time!At 10 lbs, she might actually be a little too large for this size but I know she can't squirm out of this one so I'll keep it!

Great for most dogs!

I think this carrier is a great option for most dogs. My dog, unfortunately, did not fit correctly as he would shift to the side and almost fall through one of the leg holes. I had high hopes it would work for him but it didn’t. Looking at other reviews for this product I can see that it works for many dogs and I agree that it is a good quality product. It is easy to use and comfortable to wear. You have to make sure to cross the straps in the back otherwise they will slip off.Overall I would recommend this product as I think it will be perfect for a lot of dogs.

Super comfortable and my pup LOVES IT!!

It fits my 13 lbs Maltese perfectly!!! Just enough room for him to wear a sweater when it gets a bit chilly when we go scooter riding!!! He absolutely loves to hang around on this!! The durability is great, it’s very easy to adjust so it’s very portable since it lays flats and my boyfriend can also wear it, it’s nicely padded so it’s very comfortable and soft and very easy to clean off leaving no smells and i love that it’s easy for him to poke his head out and see clearly

Works as a car seat!

Wow im so shocked this worked! My dog is a pain in the butt in the car so I got this as a car seat. It’s not meant for that but I’m not really using it for that. I just need him to hold still. The straps actually fit the seat and held him up great! The only reason it’s not 5 stars would just be the fact that the zippers could be higher quality. But in all it works great for what I intended it for! Im so excited to take a car ride with him!

Weird dog

The sizing is not accurate. My dog is within the 3-5lb range so I got a small yet she is sliding out of it. I had to stuff some towels to keep her in place. I didn't consider her odd posture either (that's on me), but I don't recommend it for dogs with arched spines. She naturally scrunches when carried so she prefers to be side ways in the sling. When she is straight forward, she chokes herself so having that little towel support her chest and keep her off the elastic works. I might sew the towels in but I wish some of the options here considered my weird dog. :)

Well made

4 star due to not exactly fitting my needs. I have a 19 year old Pomeranian. The size was appropriate and the product well made. However….my senior has arthritis so he is not flexible or strong enough to hold himself up in the pouch. I actually set him sideways and put both of his hind legs through one leg hole. It works well enough.I also crisscrossed the straps otherwise their just annoying.

Kitten carrier

I thought it was for kittens. The leg holes are way too big. He's about 8 weeks old.

Leg holes seem too big

The leg holes are quite large. On the one hand this makes it easier to situate your dog inside the carrier. On the other hand, it makes it so that the dog could slip out the leg holes if you’re not careful. My chiweenie is long enough to justify the XL size, but I don’t see us using this much because it doesn’t seem secure at all.

Backpack is great - Cat is not!

the product is excellent - well made and sturdy, quality material, no issue with it. But my cat weighs 22 lbs and if he does not want to get strapped in this then it is NOT going to happen. I will continue to work with him because I would love to use it . . .

Better For Dogs Than Humans

We originally bought one of these carriers for a dog who absolutely hates going for walks. It worked so well that our other dog became jealous whenever the backpack came out, so we ended up buying a second one for my husband to wear. Apparently, everyone wanted to be chauffeured. The dogs genuinely love riding in these carriers and seem comfortable and secure once they're inside. It's been a great way to include them on longer outings without dealing with stubborn refusals to walk. It's also surprisingly useful for clingy small dogs who insist on being held at all times. I've used it while doing chores around the house or working, and it lets my little shadow stay close without completely taking over my ability to get things done. That said, the experience is much better for the dogs than it is for the humans. I found the carrier very uncomfortable to wear, especially for extended periods. It also takes some patience to get the dogs in and out, particularly if they're wiggly or impatient to start their adventure.Despite those drawbacks, we've gotten a lot of use out of them because the dogs enjoy them so much. If your pet loves being carried everywhere, this backpack may quickly become their favorite mode of transportation.

Been a fan of pawaboo for over 6 years!!!

This is the 4th carrier from this brand that I’ve got. The first one I got was around 6 or 7 years ago and I LOVE IT! And so did my pup Mac! He looooved going on bike rides in his pawaboo!!!This brand is great and the carriers are well made so whenever I saw a different model I’d get it (since we use it a LOT) my Mac is gone now and his little sister inherited his carriers but 3 years ago I got her a new one. They are all great, but when I saw the AA style I had to have it!The system is a bit different from the ones we have and I LOVE IT! The bottom part, where their tushie rests, is a little bit more reinforced which seems great. It’s soft but sturdy as well.We tried it on as soon as it arrived and Millie seemed very secured and safe! I love her little face when she’s on it, just watching the world!!!!There is a bit of a learning curve to get the pups in them, and I feel like the first one I got (looks like the AB style) , is lighter and thinner (still safe and strong) was the easiest one to get her in. The AA wasn’t too bad tho.I just wish there was an extra piece of fabric behind the zippers because you can easily catch the hair if you have a long hair dog. So be extra careful. I make sure I place my hand between the zipper and her body to avoid that, or get her in a little dress or some clothing. That also helps a LOT to prevent that from happening. And if it does your dog WILL NEVER forget and it will become more difficult to get them in it.The pattern I got is super cute, daisy pink! And the carrier has no weird smells or anything.Totally recommend it.

Cute Front Pack for Doggies

I recently purchased the Pawaboo Pet Carrier Backpack for my small dog, and it has quickly become an essential item for our outdoor adventures. Here’s my detailed review:Design and ComfortThe design is both functional and adorable. The “legs-out” style ensures that my dog is secure yet comfortable, with plenty of ventilation to keep her cool during hikes. The adjustable straps allow for a snug fit, making it comfortable for me to wear for extended periods. The padding on the shoulder straps is decent but could be a bit thicker for better weight distribution.Ease of UseGetting my dog into the carrier was surprisingly easy. The zippers and Velcro openings work smoothly, and the adjustable straps allow for a custom fit for different body types. Once secured, my dog seemed relaxed and enjoyed the ride.Durability and QualityThe material feels sturdy and well-made, capable of withstanding the occasional scratch or chew. The stitching appears durable, and the zippers glide smoothly without snagging. It’s also lightweight, which is a bonus for long trips.VersatilityThis backpack is ideal for various activities, from hiking to casual trips around town. I’ve even used it while biking. It’s convenient to have my dog close, especially in crowded or unsafe areas where I don’t want her walking.Size and FitThe medium size fits my 12-pound dog perfectly. However, it’s crucial to measure your pet carefully before purchasing, as the fit depends on their dimensions. It might not work as well for pets with unusual body shapes.ProsComfortable for both pet and owner.Easy to put on and adjust.Lightweight yet sturdy material.Great for travel, hiking, and urban use.ConsShoulder strap padding could be thicker for heavier pets. Not ideal for pets who don’t enjoy being confined.Limited color options for those who like variety.ConclusionOverall, the Pawaboo Pet Carrier Backpack is an excellent product for pet owners who love to take their furry friends on adventures. While it’s not perfect, the convenience and comfort it provides make it worth the investment. My dog seems happy riding in it, and I love having her close without the worry of her tiring out on long hikes.Highly recommended for small to medium pets who enjoy being part of the action!
